# Can this page be indexed?

Check for problems that could stop your page being indexed. Paste a public page address and follow each step as it runs.

## How to use this tool

Enter a public page address and start the check. The page reports each step as it runs: checking access, opening the page, checking indexing settings, and reviewing the content. Results separate access and settings problems from content concerns and never claim to know whether Google has indexed the page.

## What the result means

**Access and indexing settings** are things we saw when we opened your page: whether the site lets Google visit it, whether the page loads, and whether it carries a setting that tells Google to skip it or to treat another address as the original. Some of these can block indexing outright; others, such as a different preferred address, are worth reviewing but do not stop indexing on their own. Fixing them does not guarantee a result.

**Content review** checks for thin, repeated, or unclear writing that could hold your page back. Treat it as a second opinion, and open the details to see exactly what it looked at.

**Already in Google** is always shown as not checked. This tool cannot confirm whether your page is in Google and does not promise an outcome.

## Ready to submit?

Once nothing is blocking the page, [submit it for indexing](https://app.indexmysite.app/signup) from the web app, your AI agent, or the CLI. See [Submitting URLs](https://indexmysite.app/docs/submitting-urls) for how results and refunds work.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does the checker look at?

Whether the site lets Google visit the page, whether the page carries a setting that tells Google to skip it, and whether the writing on the page has anything that could hold it back. Each step is reported as it happens.

### Does it tell me whether Google has indexed the page?

No. This check cannot confirm whether your page is already in Google, and it does not predict the outcome. It shows problems that could stand in the way.

### How is my page reviewed?

We check your public page for access problems, indexing settings, and content that could hold it back. Use the findings as a guide, not proof that Google will index your page.

### Why does it miss content I can see in my browser?

Some pages only show their content after scripts run in a browser. This check reads the page as it first loads, so that content is not reviewed, and the result tells you when some page content could not be checked.

### Why was my address rejected?

The checker only opens public page addresses. Query parameters are allowed, including those that identify a product, variant, or page. Local addresses, private networks, and addresses with embedded sign-in details are not allowed.

### What happens after I fix the findings?

Run the check again to confirm. When the page is ready, submit it for indexing from the app. Each URL uses one credit, and a URL confirmed as not indexed returns its credit.
